Just as advertisers are demanding more environmentally-friendly marketing, and media companies start to add the topic of green to their meeting agendas, do it outdoors is two steps ahead with its Do It Green plan. do it outdoors officially announced the details of its Do It Green plan at a press conference during Advertising Week in NYC at the 2007 OAAA STAR Showcase.
Keeping with its progressive and forward-thinking approach, is leading the industry with its Do It Green plan. The Do It Green plan outlines the company’s ongoing commitment to its advertisers’ needs by implementing change and growing its green marketing services.
“do it outdoors knows that in order for a business to be successful, it must also be responsible. This thinking was the catalyst to our making a long-term commitment with the Do It Green plan. We see the marketing industry nearing a tipping point where green programs will be the norm and expected by advertisers. do it outdoors believes that there is no time like the present, and we are excited to be the first media company to take our commitment to the next level,” said David Pridgen II , president and CEO of do it outdoors.
As a part of the media event, do it outdoors made its first donation as part of its Give Back Program, by donating $25,000 to the Natural Resources Defense Council, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting public health and the environment. |
