The Field Marketing Coordinator will work alongside the Experiential Marketing Manager, creating and executing various Field Marketing activations, including marketing tours. The Field Marketing Coordinator will take full ownership of campaigns from initial setup through completion, providing support and making recommendations throughout the life of the campaign. The Field Marketing Coordinator must have full understanding of all elements of the in-field activations that do it outdoors executes and the ability to perform each task as detailed below:
Assist Experiential Marketing Manager with campaign ideation and proposal research as per client requests
Perform market research and formulate campaign schedules and routing
Develop relationships with zoning departments in various key markets; secure all required permits for promotional campaigns
Submit and manage all campaign talent requests through our staffing partners
Oversee the timely production and shipping of all campaign assets and create/maintain vendor relationships
Arrange and manage all campaign travel logistics and itineraries of Event Managers
Works closely with account executives, account managers and Experiential Marketing Manager to ensure that campaigns are meeting client goals and expectations
Carry out supervision of Event Management in accordance with company policies and procedures. Such responsibilities include: recruiting, hiring and training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; coaching; addressing and resolving all issues in the field
Create Proof of Performances post-campaign
Develop and maintain promotional contact data base
Upkeep of all Field Marketing mediums, including creating and implementing routine maintenance procedures and managing inventory
Submit Field Marketing related invoices to Promotions Director for processing
Prepare training procedure manuals for Event Managers/Promotions Department
Work with Experiential Marketing Manager to develop and plan for department growth
When deemed necessary the Field Marketing Coordinator may be required to travel into market to act as the on-site Event Management for various Field Marketing campaigns, fulfilling the below duties while in the field:
Complete management of Brand Ambassador team in the field
Work directly with our talent provider to ensure a full team during activation and handle any BA issues that arise during activation
Ensure all Brand Ambassador time reporting is entered accurately
Thoroughly train Brand Ambassador team on all campaign objectives, talking points and promotional mediums
Perform general maintenance and troubleshooting of all promotional mediums in the field including: Segways, JetPacks, Sampling Bikes, Helium Balloons and iPads
Effectively manage campaign execution
Track and manage all campaign expenses
Take 15 – 20 quality photos each campaign day
Create and post daily campaign recaps including metrics, consumer quotes and photos within 2 hours of completion of each campaign day
Complete and submit Comdata paperwork within 48 hours of returning to home market
Must have knowledge or experience as a brand ambassador, team lead, promotional specialist, etc.
Must have administrative/computer experience and ability to learn new programs. Microsoft experience is a must, specifically PowerPoint, and excel.
Must be available to travel for campaigns if needed.
Time management, attention to detail, logistical thinking, and being able to juggle multiple clients and campaigns at once is a must.
